You can be at Limoges airport in only an hour from England. The lake is only a 25 minute drive from there. Car hire can be booked through the airline (Ryanair) or on the internet (need help, just ask us). Alternatively if you wish we can arrange pickup (see our extras).
If flying is not for you, you can hop on a ferry, the crossings vary 1 hour to 4 hours depending on which crossing you choose and which ferry company you use. English ports which have French crossings include Dover, Newhaven, Poole, Portsmouth and Plymouth.
Choice of destinations in France Calais, Dieppe, Cherbourg, Caen, St Malo, Le Havre, Dunkirk and Roscoff.

No flying or ferry crossing required – why not try the train? You can either come by car on the Euro tunnel to Calais and drive to us or as a foot passenger
from Waterloo changing at Paris for a direct train to Limoges – with good connections this may take as little as six hours door to door. Hiring of cars
is not a problem at Limoges train station or we can arrange pick up (see extras).
