For all specimen carp fishermen, we now have sizes of carp ranging from 30lb – 65lb+ with an average catch of 40lb

(Stock) Boasting over 120 known carp set in a 5.5 acre lake, Chesnut Lakes has a record catch of 2 carp going to 65lb+ and 22 known over 50lb+ with the average majority carp weight of 30lb – 40lb+, with some unknown weights still yet to surprise us, Chesnut Lakes truly is every Anglers Dream!!

Since 2023 we have made some incredible changes to the Lake

With Chesnut Lakes being a spring fed lake, certain areas would become waterlogged and unfishable for anglers. Since facing the issue we have now made some big transformations and have built luxury gravel social areas from Peg 1 – 4. The grass and bushland surrounding pegs 5 – 6 remain as they were and we now class this area as ‘The Sticks’  

As the lake has never been fully drained, every year we see new fish being caught but we have one fish called ‘Spot’ who has been with us since the beginning and this gallery shows the growth weight from 16lb to 60lb+ and still growing. Can you catch spot?
